Electric violinist : Marisol
Marisol is a classically trained violinist, she recently graduated from The Aaron Copland School of Music, completing her Masters Degree in Classical Violin Performance under the tutelage of the remarkable American violinist Daniel Phillips. She joined the Aaron Copland Music School Pre-College Faculty on the spring of 2023. Marisol has also studied studied Jazz with Paul Bollenback, Jonathan Kreisberg, David Berkman, among others. Her versatility slows her to have a wide repertoire that includes many different genres such as Bossa Nova, Tango, Cumbia, Jazz Manouche, Classical Rock and Jazz, among others. Marisol had worked in professional orchestras since she is 14 years old, playing with remarkable musicians such as Lang Lang (Piano), Gil Shaham (violin), Joshua Bell (Violín), Penderecki (Composer). She was part of the youth orchestra that performed for Jean Paul the second, in Rome and also performed for The Prince of Asturias, and the president of Colombia. Marisol won a price for her artistic performance as a child and being an active cultural figure in her city of Medellin -Colombia.
Marisol gained her Suzuki Certification attending to 3 summer institutes in Hartford University and Ithaca College. She is currently plays all around the New York Metropolitan area.
